How to Setup Kebit8KTV on Android TV & Google TV
Step-by-step instructions for installing and optimizing your 8K and 4K stream feeds on Sony, TCL, Hisense Android TVs, Chromecast with Google TV, and Nvidia Shield.
To set up Kebit8KTV on Android TV or Google TV, open the Google Play Store on your television, download TiviMate IPTV Player or IPTV Smarters Pro, select Xtream Codes API login, and enter your server URL, username, and password provided by the Kebit8KTV WhatsApp desk.
Open Google Play Store on Your TV
From your Android TV or Google TV home interface, go to the Apps tab and launch the Google Play Store.
Search & Install TiviMate IPTV Player
Type "TiviMate IPTV Player" in the search bar. TiviMate is widely regarded as the most fluid, TV-optimized interface available on Android TV. Click Install.
Add Playlist via Xtream Codes API
Launch TiviMate, select "Add Playlist", and choose "Xtream Codes". Enter your Kebit8KTV credentials delivered to you on WhatsApp:
- Server Address: The URL provided by support (e.g., http://domain.xyz:port)
- Username: Your personal account login
- Password: Your personal account key
Check the box for "Include TV channels" and "Include VOD", then click Done.
Configure Auto EPG & Buffer Size
Inside TiviMate Settings:
- Go to EPG → Update on App Start: Turn ON.
- Go to Playback → Buffer Size: Set to "Medium" or "Large" to cushion against micro-fluctuations in home Wi-Fi.
- Enable Auto frame rate (AFR) if your television supports native 50Hz/60Hz refresh rate switching.
